This project intends to rehearse the execution of proper scholarly digital editing using Harry Gordon's journal from the 1766 Expedition. This project will transcribe, annotate, and present writings based on a 1767 copy of the journal located in the "Colonial America Online" Archive CO_5/85-015 and reference the most recent reproduction of the journal from the Illinois Historical Collections of 1916. This project will present relative correspondence and maps to contextualize the events of the journal.
